Brianna and IBrianna and I are absolutely thrilled to finally share this exciting news with you. Vecchia Gelato & Café isn’t just a new shop; it’s the beautiful, delicious next chapter in our family’s story, one born from the heart of Vecchia Pizzeria.

As a husband-and-wife team, we dreamed of crafting a place that captured the authentic, softer side of Italian life. We envisioned a bright, warm spot where every afternoon feels special—a place for bold espresso, sparkling spritzes, incredible street food, and, of course, the finest gelato. We wanted to take the feeling of —the sweet life—and share that sunshine with all of you.


Why Our Gelato Sings: The Art of Italian Dessert

At the heart of our new café is, of course, the gelato. If you’ve ever wondered what makes it a world away from regular ice cream, you’ve come to the right place.

We have poured ourselves into mastering this traditional Italian craft. The key is the ingredients and the process:

  • Ingredients: Gelato is made with more milk than cream. This naturally gives it a lower fat content than traditional ice cream, which is crucial because it allows the true, deep flavors to brighten and pop on your palate.
  • Process: We churn our gelato more slowly, which incorporates less air. This results in that signature dense, incredibly smooth texture you won’t find anywhere else.
  • Temperature: Finally, we serve it at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream. This small difference is huge—it prevents your tongue from going numb and allows the gelato to melt slowly, letting every nuanced flavor shine. It truly is a difference you can taste with every spoonful.
